I have to say this is what this bike is missing . If you are weighing at 220lbs . This shock is for you . No more bottoming out . Currently running 275lbs of air in the shock. I also changed the front end . The bike now is like a new improved e-bike . Highly recommend.
This shock revolutionizes the ride for my Swift Horse. The stock shock was very good but I needed to be able to adjust the weight for me as a personal preference.
I adjust the air to suit the trail I'm riding on. I am amazed at the plush ride it gives me. I will buy another one for my next e-bike for sure.
Bought DNM Air Shock 190mm for Swift Horse and it fits perfectly. It was my first time trying the Air Shock and it performs better than pre installed shock in Freesky Ebikes or many other spring shocks. The kit comes with the Shock as usual along with mounting pins, just in case the older pins were damaged. I am loving riding the bike with this new shock as it absorbs the vibrations/ jolts much better. All you need to do is manage the PSI in the shock as per your weight and the ride will be enjoyable.
The bike's bottom bracket needed to widened to accept the shock. No problem for me, but it's not a direct swap.
The shock performed well on some very technical MTB trails. It does require the sag to be set before using.
I deducted a star for the clearance problem.
The only problem was there wasn't enough choice in the spacers that come with the shock.Luckily I was able to use these facers from my old shock, but it was a little bit of work.Took about an hour to install that gotta get better on that part.Guys more spacers thank you
Other wise I had to file and grind down the lower bike frame shock mount flange. Used a small drum sanding bit on the Dremmel. It took some time but went well. Im hoping the manufacturer will correct this problem on the DNM lower mounting eye, it's a major re tooling job for them but also a big inconvenience for the consumer. Please correct t this problem. The air shock made a total difference the bike handles and rides so smooth over all the bumps I highly recommend it. You will not believe the difference.
This is the shock that should come with the bike. I'm 103kg and would constantly bottom out the original shock. The new shock has shown to be much better than the original and should only get better as I play with the adjustments. Highly recommend replacing stock shock before first ride if you fall into the big boy 100+kg category.
I would rate the soft yet sturdy feel of this air shock a 6 out of 5 if possible for going above and beyond when it comes to durability and comfort!! It makes a world of difference compared to the small, stiff, lesser known brand shock which came installed on the Swift Horse. To those questioning an upgrade, I say to you, GO FOR IT WITH CONFIDENCE! You won't be disappointed in DNMs performance:)

Very impressive rear suspension as it comes with a compression dial and lock out. Much better feel than the shock that comes on swift horse pro models, which is stiff and bottoms out after an inch of travel. A smart after sale investment! Cheers
